A UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Doctoral Focal Award in Nuclear Skills, PANDA (Programme for Accelerating Nuclear Development and Applications) is a £24 million Centre for Doctoral Training with significant funding  from the Department for Energy and Net Zero (DESNZ) and the Ministry of Defence. 

Led by Bangor University and delivered with seven leading UK universities and the UK National Nuclear Laboratory, PANDA will train up to 100 doctoral researchers to help meet the UK’s future nuclear, clean energy and defence needs.
